1. Policy Statement
Maximilian Holidays Pvt. Ltd. is committed to safeguarding the welfare and protection of children during all travel services arranged by the Company.
This Policy applies to:
- Family travel
- School tours
- Student groups
- Corporate family travel
- All tours involving minors
2. Definition
For the purposes of this Policy, a “Child” or “Minor” refers to any person under the age of 18 years.
3. Parental / Guardian Responsibility
1. All minors must be accompanied by:
- A parent;
- A legal guardian; or
- An authorised adult (in case of school or institutional travel).
4. Unaccompanied Minors
The Company does not accept bookings for unaccompanied minors unless expressly agreed in writing under a separate institutional or school contract.
5. Documentation Requirements
Parents or guardians must ensure:
- Valid passport and visa documentation
- Consent letters (where required for international travel)
- Compliance with airline policies for minor travel
6. Child Safety During Tours
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- Supervising children at all times
- Ensuring children comply with safety instructions
- Monitoring children during sightseeing, transport, and hotel stays
7. Safeguarding Conduct Standards
The Company expects:
- Zero tolerance for child abuse, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct
- Immediate reporting of any suspected child safety concern
- Compliance with local child protection laws in destination countries
8. Photography of Children
- Not be used for marketing without parental consent;
- Not be published in a manner that compromises child privacy or safety.
9. Child Participation in Activities
Certain activities may involve:
- Physical exertion
- Water-based activities
- Adventure components
Parents or guardians are responsible for assessing a child’s suitability for participation.
The Company shall not be liable for injuries arising from voluntary participation.
10. School & Institutional Groups
For school or institutional tours:
- A separate agreement may be executed;
- The school/institution remains responsible for student supervision;
- Teacher-to-student ratios must be maintained as per institutional policy.
